GUEST SERVICES STAFF - Under the K Bridge

ID CHECKER/TICKET SCANNER

The ID Checker/Ticket Scanner is responsible for providing excellent customer service at all events, while providing directionsandscanning tickets. The Usher/Ticket Scanner is alsoresponsible forgreeting guests,assisting guests with finding their seats,controlling access points,andassisting guests when issues/problemsarise.

Essential Functions:

  • Check IDs of individuals attending the event.
  • Organize and distribute 21+ and VIP wristbands.
  • Be familiar with state and federal laws surrounding valid forms of ID for entry and alcohol purchases.
  • Report any activities or behaviors that conflict with facility/event policy or code of conduct to ID Supervisor or Event Manager.
  • Assist guests with directional and informational inquiries by demonstrating strong knowledge of the facility and event(s).
  • Communicate in a professional manner with other building staff, guests, and supervisors on important information.
  • Work to effectively accommodate guests with disabilities, while complying with facility/event ADA requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • A minimum of 1 years ofrelated work experience
  • Ableto work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exemplify a strongcommitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a neat, clean andprofessionalappearance
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound judgement; abletomake sound decisions
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay Scale: $19.31

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

GUEST SERVICES AMBASSADOR

The Ambassador will oversee designated areas of the event to ensure operational needs are covered and welcoming for guests to provide information and assistance by responding appropriately to keep guests safe. This position will serve as a physical presence throughout the event by escorting guests who need assistance and dispatching to medical and security for those in need. The Ambassador will work near Rideshare and Plaza areas to help direct guests to the appropriate entrance while also reiterating the event's Good Neighbor Policy by encouraging guests to remain quiet and respectful of nearby residences.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee designated areas of the event to ensure operational needs are covered and welcoming for guests.
  • Provide information to guests as requested. Escort guests who need assistance to designated areas of the event.
  • Serve as a physical presence by helping exemplify values of equity safety and inclusion by deploying with ambassadors per protocol.
  • Prepare to escalate situations for patrons and dispatch to medical and security for any patron in need

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • 2-4 years Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressure, multi-task and recognize problems and solutions.
  • Ability to work long, irregular hours for an extended period of time as dictated by events and schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated competency in non-judgmental and compassionate care service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills.
  • Maintain professional appearance and etiquette with patrons and staff including radio communication with Dispatch and other departments.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow protocols/directives.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in challenging environments and work with diverse individuals.
